A Flower Farm Update Full of Joy and Blossoms

Hello, dear flower enthusiasts! We’re delighted to share a thrilling update about our third season on the flower farm. This season has been a rollercoaster of challenges and triumphs, but oh, what a journey it has been!

From the very start, our trays of seedlings showed great promise. We only lost one or two trays, which is not too shabby. However, once these seedlings were transplanted outdoors, Mother Nature had her say. We faced a significant loss in our beloved Zinnias, but as any dedicated farmer knows, resilience is key. We rolled up our sleeves, prepped new seed trays, and began again. Despite the setbacks, we are incredibly thrilled with the beautiful blooms we’ve harvested. Our bouquets have been graced with the likes of Love-in-a-Mist, Larkspur, Snapdragon, Alstroemeria, Roses, and Dara.

Although some of these flowers have bid us adieu for the season, our Roses and Dara remain steadfast. Even more exciting is the resurgence of our Zinnias, which are now making their way into our arrangements. Our English lavender is thriving, exuding its calming fragrance, while the cinnamon and lemon basil add a delightful aromatic touch.

The farm is truly coming to life! Our strawflowers are making their grand entrance, and the sunflowers are reaching for the sky. The summer heat is intense, but it’s just what our plants need to flourish. This time of year is pure magic on the farm. The bees are buzzing, the birds are singing, and my heart is stolen once again by those adorable, mischievous squirrels.

Even though it’s not quite summertime yet—just 10 more days to go!—we’re eagerly anticipating many weeks of vibrant flower blooms. We’ll keep you updated throughout the entire blooming season.
